My family and I will be going to DL April 26 - 30 and will be in the parks 27, 28, 29th. Wanted to know first what days are the MM and what days are Toon Town morning Madness. So what I need to have your opinion on is what day should I make our PS at Goofys? Any thoughts? Should we do it on the first day to kick off the fun or the last day as a nice ending to the trip. We will also be eating at Ariels Grotto and I don't want to do two meals on the same day. I was thinking of doing California on Tuesday so we might just do Ariel that day after the parade(is this a good idea or does everyone else have this idea also?). .

If you're only going into the parks 27 - 29th, then Tuesday the 28th will be your only Magic Morning. With your kid's ages.....USE IT....& use it for FantasyLand & possibly Buzz. (even if you plan on stopping by FL on the two other days) & remember....Peter Pan first....alwasy first.

Also, imo....start each day at DL (at rope drop or MM opening), hop briefly to DCA, take an afternoon nap/swim/rest & back to one or both parks late afternoon/evening.

I don't have knowledge on toontown hours & don't have an opinion on the character meals except that Goofy's brunch (after an early morning at DL) can be easily reached by taking the Monorail from DL tomorrowland (thus saving a few steps).

Have a great time planning a visit to Walt's Park. :thumbsup2

Just an FYI - for the time being, the characters are leaving the brunches at 11:30, so you'll want to make sure you do earlier times for them. This is for all HOTEL Character Dining.

I think you can't go wrong with either starting or ending with Goofy's. Are you a family that starts out with a bang, or do you like to have closure? Do you give that final salute on the bow, before the ship sinks? I would say, depending on your family's previous habits, make sure decision from that.

Here's another thought - considering that you can even do Goofy's when you aren't on a park day, so consider when you will be arriving and where you are staying. You could always do Goofy's for dinner the first night as a welcome party!

I was thinking the same thing. :thumbsup2

A nice welcome feed with Goofy.......early to bed.....& then up & at the DL gate 40 min. before opening on Monday morning. :yay:

That is an excellent suggestion. We did this too. :thumbsup2 We arrived and only had a few hours in the park our first night, decided to end the night with dinner at Goofys. It was a great way to "begin" our trip and we felt even though we didnt spend a full day at the park, it was a great way to end the day. ;)

On our last trip to DL in 2006, we did Goofy's on our last day (the day we were driving home). We packed up the suitcases that morning, went to breakfast at Goofy's around 9:30 (I think), then went and checked out of the hotel. We enjoyed doing it that way because 1) we about had the place to ourselves as most families tried to get in early and eat and then hit the park and 2) it was a nice ending to our trip.

As I said, most everyone had cleared out by the time we were done and we had ALOT of character interaction all to ourselves.

I'm sure whatever you decide to do will be fine! There are really no right or wrong answers! :)
