Need URGENT help please!!! UPDATE- It's all good (I hope)

Ugh! I leave tomorrow (Sunday) and I just realized that I booked a package for 5/5 - 5/7 at Pop with 10 day Park Hoppers. The problem: We arrive 4/30 and need our tickets that day! I totally overlooked the fact that we won't get our tickets until we check into Pop... Why didn't I see that coming??? Please someone tell me they can issue them when I check into OKW on Sunday? Has anyone else done this? What did Disney do about it?
 
i don't see why they won't issue them on arrival-we booked our stay at ssr but spent a couple nites at cbr and were asked upon arrival if we wanted our passports that nite or when we checked into the timeshare. give the central resies place a call, i'm sure it will all work out.
 
Can I use the toll free number to do that? It's the only one I have... Does it matter that I rented points ( I mean, will it still be in the system?) Thanks sooo much!
 
Oh my God, I'm in tears right now! I am waiting to speak to someone else, but the CM I just spoke to basically told me (not very nicely) that I'm totally screwed! Please someone tell me that I'm not- I leave in 24 hours and have no tickets for my family. I'm so mad at myself right now I can barely speak...
 

Can you switch the package to 5 day hoppers?

Then, buy 4 or 5 day hoppers on your own when you check into Key West?

Just ask them if they will change your package.

Tell them you want to speak with guest services and ask them to change your package if they can.
 
I don't know, it's fully paid for and she said since I booked through AAA they couldn't even touch the ressie... Still waiting to speak to geust services... I don't believe I did this!
 
I am sure there is some way to change just keep asking for the supervisor until it is changed maybe you can call AAA and see what they can do

LOL< to make things better, the agent who I booked through is no longer a full time employee and is very hard to get a hold of... I'll be trying to fix this all day! Thanks everyone for the support!
 
I'm sure it will all turn out. Call AAA I'm sure they can fix this. I hope all works for you and your family. :thumbsup2

Can you talk to your agents supervisor? Somebody has to be able to help you. I wish you a lot of luck. Hang in there and don't stop asking until you get the answer you want. You paid to much for your trip for them to take it away from you.
 
It just keeps getting better... I've spoken to Disney 3 times and apparently even AAA can't change the reservation? I don't get that part, but I can't even call AAA because not only are they closed, but the EMERGENCY number they gave is also closed. I have been told three times that there is nothing to do but buy new tickets- I just spent $700 on those tickets, and I have no more money.
 
Can you change the tickets you ordered to no expiration date tickets?
 
Fortunately they already are non expiring so at least we won't lose the days, we just won't be able to use them this year. Well, we can use two days, I guess it's better than nothing...
 
Well, my husband was able to get somewhere thankfully! It's funny, because he's an awful communicator under pressure too... Anyway, after insisting on speaking to a supervisor (boy, they really try to avoid that!) we got somewhere. We were told that this happens occasionally and it is done on a case by case basis, but they put a note in the computer that we wanted to pick up our tickets early. Now all we have to do is go to guest relations at the park and we *should* have no problems. Please send major pixie dust our way!!! I should add that we have never had a vacation that didn't go horribly awry, not even our honeymoon! We always laugh it off and have a great time in the end, but it is soooo upsetting to keep dealing with. Let's hope that this is our only fiasco and everything else goes smoothly! (And be sure to read my trip report to find out all about how it didn't :teeth: ). Thanks again for the support everyone. I'm off to finish packing. Yes, I'm still packing- I have a 9 week old and a 2.5 year old and I can barely find time to wipe my butt (lovely, huh?). I am still trying to adjust to having two kids who demand constant attention. I haven't even gone to bed yet... Ok, done rambling, have a great weekend! :sunny:
 
I've heard that a person can go to their resort and get the tickets before check-in, but I've never had to do it. Just something that I've read I believe on the resorts forum recently.

Sounds like it's all working out, though. Sorry you're having this stress--I know that's the last thing you need right before a trip when you probably thought you had all your ducks in a row!
 
Whatever the case, Guest Relations at Disney will always make it work, I have never seen nor heard of them not. Enjoy that trip. :cool1:
 
I don't think you will have a problem. I think you get a better response from Disney's guest relations when you are actually face to face with them than on the phone. Besides when you are face to face with them it is harder for them to give you a hard time about getting a supervisor ;) . Also, since they are non expiring tickets and not length of stay, I think you will be o.k.
