Need unique but not weird baby boy names.

Hunter, Oliver, Montana, Kieran, Winston,Winslow, Duran, Joquin, Anson, An and Kai are names for boys I know that are the most unique. Theres a Jackson too, all the rest are Mikes, Marks, Josephs and Christophers haha I really like the name Deacon or even Jax for a boy.

I like Xander, it's different but not wacky I think, and sounds very manly. I also like Roland. My favorite boys name, is Cordell, it's my oldest son's name.

Romeo, marco, Duke, king, cassius, i know a baby named true, justice, kingston

i have an Ian.

we also considered Kieran, but Ian is the Scottish form of John (DH's first name, although not the one he uses).

my other DS is Elliot, for no other reason than we like the name. :)

My son is named Asa. If we have another son, he might be named Albert. Both family names from my side. Brennar and Elliott are on a short list as well.

My 5 month old is named Simon. It's a normal name but not used much right now. All of the nurses at the hospital kept saying they hadn't heard that one in a while, and I haven't come across another one since he's been born.

I'd go with older names like Jeffrey, Douglas, Dennis, Kevin, Gregory, Bradley, etc. They'll probably be the only one in their class. The other names listed as unique aren't really that unique right now - many of them are very popular.

I would avoid some older names that never seem to lose popularity, like Michael or David. I also see a lot of the ones like my grandpa's generation had like Henry, George, etc.

I agree that a lot of them are not very unique at the moment. I know at least one kid, but mostly 3 or 4, with 85% of the names listed so far. There are a few I've never encountered.

Yep...like Dominic--tons of those around right now

Cayden (and Brayden, Jayden, Hayden, etc.) very popular.

I love the name Ezra.

My boys have never had more than 1 friend with the following names:

Ashton, Jakorie, Deontay, Lorenzo, Garrett, Sebien, Killian, Landry

If I ever have a son his name will be Greyson. DD's name is Juliette, so everyone and their mother thinks we're going to go with Romeo. If I hear that joke one more time I'll lose it.

when my DD was born, we named her something that was an older name, but not used much at all anymore. well, two similar names have become popular and now there are a million other girls with her same "nickname." so, just because one chooses something rarely used today doesn't mean it won't become popular.

with our boys, we tried to pick names that weren't super popular. i know there are more Ians, but it isn't as common as other names. :confused3

i also think a lot depends on the region in which you live. names that have been listed as uncommon in other regions are really common here. and i'm sure that works with our rare names too (being common in other areas of the country).
