Need tv help

If other devices stay connected to internet, its probably the TV.

Since I'm cheap and wouldn't want to buy a new TV, if I were you, I'd get a streaming device (Roku, Firestick, AppleTV), connect that via wifi to router and HDMI to TV (assuming there's an available port). Total cost should be under $50.
I have that !! 🤣🤣🤣 i’m really thinking it’s the TV then I like you I don’t wanna have to go buy a new TV this TV is only five years old!! it’s mounted on the wall and I don’t even wanna have to mess with it!! But I’m beginning to think it’s the TV if it keeps it up I’m just gonna have to buy a new TV and when I do the geek squad is coming in and they’re going to fix and set it all up because it’s way past my pay grade
Thank you so much for trying to help me I think I’m beyond help🤣🤣🤣🤣

Glad I only use my flatscreen TV as a TV connected to a cable............LOL. With any of these high-tech devices, sounds like a great concept in theory but good luck problem-solving when something goes wrong. Each company will say it is someone else's issue and you go around in circles.

So you are watching TV through a Roku or similar device plugged into your TV? It could be the device failing. I had sound issues and assumed it was the TV. But when I got a new TV and used the same roku device the sound issues persisted. Got a new Roku and no more sound issues.

It definitely is if you’re watching 4k content, and minimal if it’s basically HD(1080p). The beauty of the AppleTV is the speed at which you can move between apps(Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, etc.) -it’s fairly intuitive and manages your watch history among all apps by taking you directly to the next episode.
Not poo pooing the Apple, but doesn't Roku and Firestick do the same? Unless your comparing them going to the same TV with the same source, hard to differentiate quality.

We got a Firestick and have had no issues with our smart tv dropping off of the internet since. This is a solid suggestion!

Have fire stick had to get a new sound bar I’ve had nothing but issues ever since so sad the other one died I really think it’s the TV 📺 the TV keeps saying that it doesn’t have any speakers or it doesn’t have any sound even though it has a sound it pops up a message at the top of the screen telling me it doesn’t have any sound or it’s moved the sound to someplace else just a lot of weird little things like that keep happening with this TV I think it’s possessed

I am frustrated on your behalf! This all sounds really annoying.

Imagine how I feel I have seriously considered ripping the TV off the wall and smashing it to pieces not kidding I just stand and scream at my TV my neighbors probably think I’m insane🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😡😡 my IT guy gave up he suggested I call the geek squad I suggest I just get a new TV it literally takes me on average about two hours every time I wanna watch streaming to get it to work and if the sound goes out on that one more time that’s it I’m done!!

The AppleTV4k supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision which means a wider range of colors, providing a more realistic picture. Plus, it’s equipped with an A15 chip which means faster processing and smooth streaming with better color accuracy, detail, and contrast. As they say, you get what you pay for …and that doesn’t mean Roku is bad -just not as good.

Hi there Dznypal it's Dodger again,
Do you happen to have a Roku device hooked up to your TV? Because how you can tell if there is no internet connection it will say where the time is listed on the right side of the screen "Not Connected" and when it happens the Roku device will reset itself and only the logo appears and on my TV when the Roku device has been updated this will happen occasionally and when it does happen you might have to check the connection by going to the Check Connection section on the Home menu on the TV screen. Have you or your husband gotten a chance to call the company yet and see what they can tell you?
Let me know what happens,
Dodger
