Need to know how points work

I am looking for Old Key West 1 or 2 bedroom for the week of July 8-15, 2006. Can someone tell me how many points I would need to buy. I'm not quite sure how this works and I tried the point calculator and it only has 2005 and I don't know if that makes a difference.

A 1BR at OKW for 7 nites arriving on July 8, 2006 would be 218 points and a 2BR would be 296 points.

You can use the DVC Point Chart link at the top of the page to see point needs thru 2007 for OKW and also links for all other DVC resorts.
