I am putting together a Disney wall grouping and want to add some of my pins in a shadow box. I have bought pins at WDW for events, places, and times that reflect a specific trip or occasion....... more of a recreational pin collector, you might say!

I need to buy some resort pins to complete my plan. With soooooooo many places to buy pins, can someone recommend a good website with a wide assortment, good reputation, reasonable prices & shipping? I could find them on eBay but I don't want to pay for shipping on 6-8 individual pins.

Thanks!

Recreational pin collector......hey folks here's another one that's in denial (and I don't mean the river in Africa)

And how many pins does it take to be a recreational pin collector?

I have approx. 20 pins, but I wear 3 or 4 of them occasionally.

I have more park maps in my collection than pins!!!!

I'm not sure, but you actually might be a "recreational" collector!

On the other hand, we all started there. Originally, I only wanted pins from my favorite rides...and maybe a few princesses...and the resorts we stayed in....Do you see where this is leading? :earseek:

Anyway, here's another suggestion, if you are interested mainly in currently available rack (non-LE) pins.

Check out www.pinpics.com.
From the left-hand navigation bar, choose "Search."
On the next screen, choose "Disney pins only" and "Continue"
On the main Search page, scroll down and select "WDW" to limit your search, and then put "resort" in the search box.

Review the pins that come up by clicking on each of the links.
Or use the grid-shape graphic in the top right corner to get a view of all at once.

The newer resort pins will be toward the end of the numerical list.
If you click on the image, the detail page comes up, and the SKU should be there for all the newer pins. You can then call WDW Merchandising (I think the number is in Raul's post that is "stuck" to the top of this board), and order the pins directly. You will pay actual price and a shipping fee. But if you order 10 pins it is a pretty good deal, I think less than $1 shipping per pin.

By the way, if you order 10 pins, that would bring your total collection up to 30 pins, and no one will ever again believe you are a recreational collector. :teeth:
