Need Tips On Surprise 40th For DH

I need some tips on the upcoming 40th birthday party for DH. So far it is planned for the day after his real birthday (better to have it on the weekend). I have the guest list, menu nad a couple of helpers. I think I have a pretty good plan for getting him out of the house for at least 4 hours. I doubt that it is going to be a surprise party like you see on TV (where everyone hides and yells surprise) but I do think that he will be in the dark at least until he gets in the driveway.

I'm sorry, was my reply insulting somehow? I did not mean it to be. I did not get a ferrarri on my 40th. In fact my wife got her realy old car replaced with a red car. Mikeeee

Why don't you do an 80's theme? You can have 80's music, try to have everyone dress in 80's attire. I think at age 40 he would have "grown up" more in the 80's era than the 70's. I am just a little bit older so I would reminise (sp) about either decade if it were me.
