We are visiting Disney World for the second time as a family this fall. It's me, my husband, and 2 daughters who will be 6 and 4. We are staying at The Contemporary - Bay Lake Towers. We're trying to choose a few sit down restaurants so we can make advance reservations. What would you recommend or what are your "don't miss out" restaurants? We are open to character and non character restaurants, but you'll see we did all character dining last time, and are interested in trying something a little different this time around.
Last year, we did table service at the following:
Cinderella's castle - dinner
Akershus - breakfast
Chef Mickey's - dinner
Hollywood and Vine - lunch
Be Our Guest - dinner
Thanks!
With the age of your kids I would make sure to keep some buffets, will keep them entertained and give mom and dad a chance to relax and eat to.
Crystal Palace, Pooh and Friends, we have eaten here at all times, great all around and consistent with food and service.
Tusker House - The Safari outfits are too cute, and the character interaction is great. We consider this our favorite character breakfast. We have some picky eaters in our family here everyone can find something to eat and everyone loves the Frunch ( it's juice) I think that's what its called. Service has always been good for us.
Chef Mickeys - the Fab 5 nothing can beat having a meal with them.
Garden Grill - is a fun family favorite- its family style serving.
Coral Reef - with the aquarium, little and big kids love it. We have enjoy the atmosphere, service and service here every time we have been here.
Tutto - another family favorite.
Teppan Edo - another good family choice, lots going on and good interaction with the staff and the food is great.
Rain Forest and T-Rex, we just love, be aware its loud in here, but its so cute and lots of stuff for the kids to look at. There is another Rain Forest at AK, they offer breakfast which is nice and its a great place to duck into for lunch.
Have a magical trip - Oh I almost forgot Beaches and Cream for a over the top snack try the Kitchen Sink, but with all that sugar do it early on in the day...
