I am driving myself crazy trying to get airline tickets for Easter break!

Does anyone have "insider" information as to when Southwest will be booking past April 1st?

I need tickets from 3/26 - 4/2! Everything I am finding is over $300 per ticket. I hope that once SW releases 4/2 I can snag some tickets for under $300.

There is no such animal. No one knows when it will be released.
Not even the reservation agents. It just opened up recently, I doubt you will see it open further until mid Nov.

Gosh, this is a tricky one.

We're flying SW from 3/22-3/28 (booked on 10/22 as soon as they opened reservations through 4/1) and was surprised that they didn't at least have the consideration to allow reservations through 4/3. Now people like you who want to vacation Easter week are split.

Here in CT there's only two direct airlines: SW and Delta. Guess if I were in your place, I'd seriously consider booking the flight out without the return flight yet. We paid $79 out (and $123 for the return) and the flights are filling up!! No way I'd wait until they added 4/2+.

Again, that's because I knew I'd almost certainly be flying SW. Not sure where you're flying out of or if you have some date flexibility.

Whatever you do, move fast.

I am going on a cruise 3/29 to 4/9 out of Ft Lauderdale. I had no problem booking my one way flight on SW from Hartford for $79. When April opens up, I will book the flight home. I did not want to lose the $79 price or good flight times by waiting too long.

Thanks for the advise. I missed out on booking the $79 for March 26th because originally I was holding out for ATA to have a special. But now that ATA has announced that they are pulling out of Chicago I am scrambling for tickets.

I am now afraid that I have missed any opportunity for a decant fare. My only hope is that American or United come out with something. Unless I book SW for $101 and hope to jump on a $79 return flight for April 2nd when they are released.
