My thoughts and prayers are with your brother and family.
This is a very tough cancer to beat. I lost a dear friend to it a few years ago to it. For a time she was on a chemo pump delivery system...similar to an insulin pump system. It delivered the chemo slowly over the course of the whole week instead of her having to go in and getting it "quickly". She used this treatment for 2 full years and felt much better on it than the initial regular chemo treatments. She also didn't lose her hair or nails on this program, had much more energy, was able to stay more active with her family and volunteering. In the end she lost her battle during a surgical procedure...but she never gave up fighting.
Miracles do happen. Sometimes they don't take the form you really want them to come in - but they do happen. Think of all the "miracles" that have happened having your brother in your life and those he touches daily.
Again my positive thoughs and prayers are going out to you.
