DH wants to take a big family vacation the first week of August. It will be he and I, our 16 yr DD, our 10 yr DS and our 11.5 month DGD. We have used all of our DVC points this year (plus 20 from next) and don't have current AP's. Here are some things that interest us. Does anybody have any ideas?!?!?!
I like thrill rides, going through museums & old homes, great food, and great lodging.
DH likes great food, always doing something, wants to scuba dive, loves golf, likes to be entertained.
DD loves to shop, hang out on the beach, shop, and be in a nice hotel/resort. Oh..... yes.... and did I mention shopping?
DS loves swimming pools with slides, rides, not dressing up, golf, and watching TV as much as possible.
DGD loves to be loved and hates to be hot. While she is not extremely fair complected, she is still a baby with tender skin. She hates sand in her baby toes. Flying is OK with some extra effort on our part.
We are all very spoiled with Disney's attention to detail and quality resort amenities. We also love the extra room that we get in a 2-BR DVC resort. We don't do well with all 5 of us in one room.
Yes, I know that I have just described WDW. We were thinking that, since we are out of DVC points and AP's right now, that this would be a good time to try something new.
How does Universal stack up to our list?
Anybody have any suggestions?!?!?!
