Need some tips! Planning first Disneyland trip!

We have been to Disney World multiple times but I know Disneyland is quite a bit different. We’re planning on an early June 2020 trip to celebrate our 15 year anniversary. It’ll be me and my husband and our three kids ages 13,12 & 8 at time of travel. We will be flying and staying off site but within a 5-10 min walk to the park entrance. Going to do a 5 day ticket. I need some must do info and any tips that will help make the trip great considering we likely won’t be back there while the kids are young. Thanks for the help!
