So sorry to hear about your Mom. I hope her shoulder will heal soon and that you'll be planning another cruise soon ! I cruised with my Mom 2 yrs ago and I'm so glad I did. She was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and will have surgery next month.Thankfully, her prognosis is very good ! So, I know how you must feel...we love our Mom's !! Virginia

Thanks again to all for all their kind wishes, pixie dust and prayers! I am healing slowly but surely. So far the surgeons say that if I keep healing on track, I will not need to have any of the fractures pinned. Though I will have to wear this brace for at least another couple of months and then do some extensive physio therapy. I am still uncomfortable at times but on whole I am doing well. My big regret is that my Mom and Daughter lost their second week of vacation and now are running around looking after me. I am trying to be a good patient.... ...but its not easy for us Nurse types.

Its not always easy to be positive but when I see so many other people worse than I am, then I am thankful for all the other great things I have. One of those great things is my DD, Katdb, who has always been the pride and joy of my late Husband and myself.
