Need some input on Early June DIS meet in London

I met an American who lived in Minneapolis and didn't know where Lake Michigan was. Never heard of it.

In fairness, there was a Jeopardy category about Saskatchewan the other night and they got them all correct. I think the topic was SASKATCHEWANDERING.

I have a suspicion that your typical Jeopardy contestant is not representative of your average person-on-the street, any more than the people Jay Leno talks to in his Jay-Walking segments. But for whatever reason there does seem to be a lot more Jay-Walking types out there, everywhere.

Probably @ the Canada Pavilion in Epcot and likely in Down Town Disney would be my guess I do know they are also available at the Disney store in the airport in Orlando.

Darren - I'll email him but I don't know if he still has an email connection since they've checked out of the BWV and into WL. Tomorrow, he's running the half-triathlon and Tuesday they come home. It's too bad because Thursday they did go to EPCOT. If he gets the message maybe he can grab one in the airport store as I'm sure they'll have a bit of a wait.

Darren, just looking at Mapquest, I will probably drive in along Dundas Street from Woodstock. Should I cut over to York St at the Galleria Mall and follow it to Wharncliffe and go North to Barringon Ave, to Granville? Or would it be better to cut over to Oxford St and head south on Wharncliffe to Barrington Ave, to Granville? Is the entrance to the park off Granville?

I'm sure I'll be solo as DH will probably have a golf game scheduled with his foursome and the boys lead their own lives now. So I'll probably just stop at a KFC or similar and pick up something for myself.

Go to Oxford that way when you are turning onto the street the park is on you are maing a right turn and not having to turn across traffic. It can sometimes be a pain to get across Wharncliffe there.

Just got DDs soccer schedule and she plays on the 12th, so we're busy from 1 till about 4. We'll try to stop by before or after the game. Dont want to miss out on all the Dis chat.

Janet, if you bring the 401 to Wellington as usual, head for Tiger Jacks. Instead of turning into the restaurant, go to the stoplight that's right there and turn right (Wharncliffe Rd). Follow Wharncliffe along for about 4KM ... after you cross over the river, go through 2 stoplights, and then I think it's the second left (you'll see the brown/yellow signs for the arena).

Well, I'm with you in spirit only this time. My DD had her birthday in March, but the pool was ice at the time, so she has planned her "first birthday party at the new school (St. Mary Choir/Orchestra), invite all the girls in the class" party. So, think of me. . . .and 15 or so 10-12 year olds. . . .and have a drink for me, please. Have a great time!
