This is not for a wedding, but a special dinner. We are doing a dinner for 11 in December at Sago Cay. We plan on a meal, desserts and watching wishes. But I want something a little more. You guys are super creative so I was hoping you could help me. Throw any ideas you can think of for any aspect of it. I am looking for decor, menu, things for the kids (there will be 5).....anything.

I am working with C&C and while my planner is fantastic at getting back to me, not really all that great when it comes to imagination or ideas.

You guys are the masters with ideas.

My budget is $5000 for this event and my husband said I cannot go over that.

Can you help me out?

Kristine

We did an Italian theme for our dinner @ Sago Cay, and I, and all my guests thought it was amazing!!! Here is a picture to show the set up....it doesn't really do it justice, it was way more beautiful in person:

We used the "Lady and the Tramp" rehearsal dinner (nobody ever had any idea is was a rehearsal menu) but we opted out of the meatballs, and changed the dessert to chocolate chip blondies and cheesecake lollipops (which I would HIGHLY recommend).

You can find the menu on the Magical Kingdoms website under the "rehearsal menus"

This location, with the menu and decor, was really a huge highlight of our wedding.

Oh, I wanted to add. The dinner was AMAZING! Everyone commented on how good every single thing was! (although most notable was the pasta and mahi mahi).

OMG - that is adorable! I love it.

I would love to do a totally italian theme. DH said we need beef. He has some facination with beef.:lmao: But I am going to look at the menu anyway, it sounds fun!

There are meatballs in the menu, but the only red meat I eat is the occasional steak and bacon, so I took it out. They can customize pretty much everything for you :thumbsup2

This is great! The location is beautiful and the Italian theme is perfect. I don't know anyone who doesn't like Italian food and the table decor ties it all in perfectly. Wow! I love it!:goodvibes

Thanks! I remember sitting there and thinking, this is so amazing! The red and white decor looks so good there, since it matches the GF. Also, the flickering lights on the table (which don't show up on the pic) make it even better.

I think a midsummer nights dream theme could work well there too!
