Hi everybody, need some suggestions please. We are going to run up to orlando for a couple of days nov, 22 and 23.
Need suggestions for cheap hotel offsite 2 adults, 2 kids , we have season passes and would love to stay on site but can't swing it this time. Also, Barry, Robin, and everybody who knows, will this time still be pretty slow? This is the first time staying offsite and I am sure my family will be miserable if it is going to be too busy at that time since we won't have front of the line...boo hoo!! How spoiled that has made us, maybe we should wait. But I figured the week before thanksgiving might be slow. Can anybody help me?
Thanks in advance

November, except Thanksgiving weekend, is generally a slow period.

As for a cheap hotel, how cheap do you want to go? If you want a good quality at a good price, try the Clarion Universal off this board. Rates start at around $49 a night.

Thanks Barry, I am going to try your suggestion and also was thinking about Delta Orlando, we had stayed there about 10 years ago, don't know how it is now though.

Delta Orlando is no more. It went bankrupt.

You might try Priceline for a cheapo rate. But first visit www.biddingfortravel.com to learn what bids are winning.

I tried it once (Priceline, that is) and got a decent rate at the Wyndham Resort on I-Drive, although I didn't care for the place much.

Too bad Halloween is over. You could have stayed at Extended Stay America on Major Blvd and seen the ghost of Barry Hom stalking the corridors with a bloody axe.;)

See what happens when you run out of Diet Pepsi? :)

Kelly,

What did you not like about the Wyndham? I got $30 per night rate with Priceline. We will stay there the night we get into town and move to HRH the next day so we won't be there long, but I was just wondering....
