We are heading down at the end of this week. It is going to be really busy and we know that, it was a late booking and so we were unable to get the 'good' fastpasses including the train and A&E meet and greet. I can manage the train, I think that line may be busy, but will be manageable. But I am really wanting to take my girls to see the Frozen Princesses and not sure how to pull it off. I keep checking for fastpasses, and will continue to do so, but wondering if anyone has any advice? I have been told so far to watch for other princesses having 'guests' later in the day, and that maybe the line get better late afternoon? Is this accurate? I was looking at what I thought was a wait time estimator but it was for DL not WDW-argh. So, anyone who is there now, or recently, is there ever a time of day when the wait dips to a manageable level?

I've read multiple reports of this and believe it to be true. It's still a pretty big crapshoot though IMO. Outside of that or a FP, you are looking seriously at a multihour wait.

Personally, I'd just explain that they are just college students in costumes and distract them with everything else in the park. ;)

Seriously though, I think you either have to resign yourself to a very long wait or not worry about it for this trip based on everything I've read.

Do you have a 8am Cinderella ADR or BBB? If not try to get one, that would put you at the front of the pack for Anna and Elsa. If you can't do that get there very early to be at the front of the line for rope drop. Ditch your stroller early if you have one because you don't want to waste valuable time parking a stroller when you could be getting in line. If you do this you will likely have a wait less than 1 1/2 hours at the very most.

We were at wdw May 4-10 and the day we were at MK the A&E line closed around 2pm for the day. I wouldn't use waiting to join the line as a strategy.

Anna & Elsa are in the new parade, and many kids are happy just to see them there. lines are still crazy from rope drop on :(

They are on the end of the very first float in the parade. Their section rotates. Also, I thought they met until 5 pm, but they may have cut the line off at 2pm to ensure it finished by 5pm.

I would just keep checking the FP+s. I managed to snag one less then a week before our trip May 12-16th. While we were there the posted wait never dipped bellow 3 hours. However one of my friends was there a little while before when they were still at Epcot and the posted wait said 7 hours but it only took 4 hours. Not that four hours isn't a crazy wait time.

As mentioned by another poster, an early ADR will help you out! I had one for CP ay 8:10 AM, left early since I already met Tigger a previous day and was by the rope behind the castle at 8:50 AM. I was on the right of it, we all went around the carousel, but being right next to it, I was in the inside track. This got me 5th in line to meet them and I was out before 9:20 AM.

Do they know about the meet and greet? Are they asking to do it?

If the answer is No to both then just don't tell them it is an option.

If they do know and are asking just tell them you couldn't get FP's and won't be able to do it this trip. That you are not giving up 4 hours to stand in line!!

Kids can deal with being told something isn't possible. It is part of growing up. It is actually good for them. Just be truthful.

This is good to know. We've got an 805 at CRT In November. So when you got to the rope at 850, were the park-entry rope drop folks arriving yet or just perhaps others with early ADRs?

As much as most little girls love Frozen, if they know how long the wait is, they might choose something else. We're at Disney right now, and have seen the lines for A&E. It's insane! My DD7 said, "5 hours? Even I wouldn't do that!" And then we talked about all the things we did in our first 5 hours at MK (Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Pooh, Little Mermaid, Dumbo, tea cups, the carousel, Peter Pan, ETWB, Speedway, and Pirates) and she said, "Yeah, we wouldn't have been able to do any of that stuff if we'd just been waiting to see Anna and Elsa!" So, a multi-hour wait may not be worth it to them if it means they have to skip that much other stuff.

We have a trip planned for June and I already told my 10 yr old we wouldn't be waiting in line to see A&E. She gets it and would rather be on rides.

I tried booking 30 days out and I've had no luck other than 1 fp (that doesn't help us much). I've tried all the tricks, no luck. We are ok with seeing them in the parade. My 8 and 11 yr old know they are in costume and have no desire to wait in that line, nor rush through a meal to chance it. My 3 year old will be happy just to see them ( and we are going to Disney on Ice Frozen)
