Need some CM clarity

I went to the CM website to take a peak at all the new products (its been at least 2 yrs) & was completely confused. I had no idea what all the new names for the albulms meant etc. So, I called a consultant I know & asked for a copy for the catalogue. I figured it would include descriptions of the items & clarify things for me. Well.....I think I understand, but would love to run it past some of you.

***PicFolio Max Albulms - top load & CAN'T add extra pgs. 12x12 & 8x8
***PicFolip Milestone Albulm - pgs have 5 sections on each pg & you just slide in pics. Can't add extra pgs. 11X14
***Coverset - Just the albulm shell, NO pgs include. You have to buy your pgs seperate. 11x14(milestone only) , 12x12, & 8x8

Sounds like you've got it. I think thats what i remember. but then again its late. I know there are a few active CMC's on here that can help m,ore.

They are also phasing out the orignal albums and replacing them with true 12x12. Which is wonderful if i didnt have a bunch of the other ones.

You are close. For traditional albums there are 4 sizes. 12x15 & 8.5x11 are only available online and come with one set of pages in them. True 12x12 and 8x8 are called coversets because there are no pages included. This give you the flexibility of chosing the pages you want. Some people don't like white pages. Also there are now side loading pages available for both the 12x12 and 8x8 (I just started a new album with the side loading 12x12 pages and I really like it).

Picfolio albums. There's the Max, Milestones, Minutes, and Mini. Max is side loading 12x12 and no pages can be added. Milestones, there are 2 types of Milestone albums. The orginal (just called Milestones) has the pockets like you mention and no pages can be added. The new Milestones coverset is expandable and has 2 different types of pages available. One with the 5 pockets and one that is a full page side loading the page size for both is 11x14. The minutes album is for 4x6 size photos, I did a really fun desk calendar with one and I've seen really nice recipe books made with them also. The mini is a great little album for all the wallet size photos we collect.
