We leave next Friday. DH is not going along so I would like to have a few meals here for him. In addition, I would like to have 2 or 3 meals to leave for my grandparents while we're gone. And on top of that, I have a really close friend who will be having baby #3 any day now (and her other baby won't turn 2 until summer) so I'd like to have a meal or 2 ready to drop off to them before we go. Anybody have some ideas of meals that I can 'mass produce' for cheapish that will freeze well and are just reheat and eat type meals?

I just had surgery and made baked ziti so my DH and son could just reheat it for dinner. Lasagna would work too. Soups seem to work well if they like them and it is cold enough. You could even make some homemade dinner rolls to go with it.

chicken cutlets
grilled chicken
soups
chili
meatballs
pulled chicken or pork
mini meatloafs?

Meatballs, chili, soup. They all freeze well.

any kind of italian red sauce, I make bolognese and another with meatballs. all they have to do is reheat and boil some pasta.

Chili
Any stock-based soup, cream ones don't reheat as well and can break if overheated.
I make a cheese sauce for mac and cheese that I give to all the women who give birth in my family. It's a basic bechamel, add in your fave cheeses (we like velveeta for it's lovely melt and then something sharp, like cheddar or gruyere, for tang), garlic, paprika, salt and pepper to taste. Cool and put in a tupperware and all they have to do it reheat slowly and mix with their fave macaroni pasta.

A pot pie would work too. They freeze well and are easy to reheat.

Have you searched pinterest? I have found many freezer meal recipes through pinterest.

I found a link on Pinterest that I made the other day... 5 crockpot meals in an hour that I froze. If you do a quick search on there, you should find it.

I just did this today! 3 hours and 14 meals prepped and bagged in the freezer for upcoming crockpot dinner meals!
