Heading to the grocery store tomorrow morning and I need ideas for snack food that can be kept in drawers. Nothing that needs microwaving or refrigeration. So far I have--
-Power Bars
-Granola Bars
-Pretzels
-Chex mix

Any other ideas?

I figure I can package them once a week into little baggies and toss one in my purse to avoid midday munchies and vending machines.....

I keep club crackers and jif pb to go cups as well as fruit cups and applesauce cups because of needing a calorie boost around 10am or 3pm. There are many options of 100 calorie packs if you look in the cookie/cracker aisle.

I always keep the noodles in a cup or the campbells soup in microwave cup thingies. I like hot snacks in the winter they seem to make me think I just ate a meal. Also pudding cups or the individual tuna packages (but they smell).

I like Welch's gummy fruit snacks. Also nuts; almonds, cashews, etc.

Almonds or any kind of nuts.

Just an fyi, one of my coworkers kept food in her office. The whole office ended up infested with mice because of that. And this was a brand new office building. It got so bad, the mice were eating the roots off the little plant I had on my desk.:scared1: It was really bad. So, I would definitely keep any food you bring in an airtight container.

Stick with individual pre packaged snacks. While it is cheaper to buy in bulk, I find that I control myself better with individual snacks and it keeps the critters at bay.

My favorite are the cocoa covered almonds by Blue Diamon in the 100 calorie packs. I get a good dose of protein and a taste of chocolate.

I keep the 4 packs of peanut butter cheese crackers and Fiber One bars in my desk at work.

I like those teeny boxes of raisins.

I get packaged Keebler Club Crackers and Cheese (usually $2 for a package of 8), craisins and goldfish crackers.

I have a variety of the 100 calorie snack packs in my office...we have issues with food stealing, and these never seem to get eaten I guess cause its..diet food..LOL

I like the packages of tuna with a few crackers. I also keeps lots of gum and hard candies around. Also if hot water is available oatmeal packets are great.

My Co worker puts snacks in her drawer, after smelling something for weeks...we found the culprit a black banana that got stuffed under some files! I keep my snacks in our kitchen area. I like dried fruit packs and granola bars.

I get those cracker stix with cheese (you know the kind u dip into the cheese dip) or the ones with pretzels at the Dollar tree. They also had indiv. cookies, chips (like you buy 4 the kids lunch). I second getting a plastic storage box so nothing gets in it.

Those covered almonds sound good! I didn't get a chance to visit the store today but will head over tomorrow morning
