Need Seasoned Universal Stay Veterans Help!!!

I am trying to book a stay in January, however no standard rooms appear available on the website, for our dates (Loews or AAA). I need a standard room or else cannot afford to stay on-site (hope it doesn't come to that--boo hoo!!!). Any tips/suggestions??????????

Call the hotel directly and make a reservation through them - we stay at the Hard Rock twice a year and we never make reservations through their website. Let me know how it goes.

What are your dates in January? There is a Builders' Convention January 11-13th (110,00 people) and it is having an affect on the availability of rooms at the Universal hotels. Could be why you can't get standard room availability.

Hi,
There is another convention the weekend we're there too, Jan 15-18. If you can get in there, and have an AAA card, they gave me a great rate with my AAA $178 HRH standard room. Phone them. Good Luck

Called the hotel directly, they said there were standard rooms available for my stay; however he had to transfer me to reservations to book one; Reservation again--no standard rooms available, however club level...etc available......Oh well......

I'm staying at RPR from 1/5-1/9 using the Loew's buy three nights, get one free so it ends up to be about $150 a night.

Have you tried using a TA?
They can check availability daily for you if their search engines won't find anyting for you at first.

hotelkingdom.com and orangevacations.com books rooms.
try them for the dates. in october they held onto 30 rooms and released them once they couldn't book them themselves.

if there is a convention in town and you can't secure a room thru reservations at the hotel, try the above sites.
