December will be a first time trip for our family and extended family.

I have found lots of recommendations and pics for sit-down restaurants in the parks but we are trying to save some money and don't want sit-down meals at lunch time.

First day is US with dinner at Pastamore. Second day is IOA with dinner at Three Broomsticks. We hope.

Breakfast will be either at Pastamore, Cinnabon or Boulangerie.

So, we don't want to eat pasta or british fare at lunch time.

What are your favorite quick service locations that you think offer good tasting food and that are within the $7-$10 range?

Or, what places should we absolutely avoid?

For counter service, I would recommend....

IOA - Thunder Falls Terrace

Studios - Louie's

At all cost, avoid Joe's Southwest Grill.. yuk! Bubba Gump was a surprisingly good choice for dinner and Margaritaville is always a favorite. The pizza parlor across from Hulk rollercoaster had an intoxicating aroma that was so inviting... The Kitchen at HRH was a total waste of money for a breakfast buffet... imo! :sad2:

Well... I guess, if you really like the taste of canned food... :rolleyes1
Actually I liked it because it was easy to find something to eat that didn't have meat in it, and had tofu as a meat option. And the salsa bar was nice.

Thanks, these are helpful. We aren't expecting miracles, just a decent counter service meal that doesn't taste like swill.
