Last trip we used Tiffany Towncar and loved them. This time just hubby and I are going for our anniversary and I want to surprise him by having a limo pick us up. I can book a limo round-trip for $115 ($120 - $5 internet coupon) through Payless Transportation, whereas Tiffany is $160.

Has anyone used Payless Transportation? I've heard alot of great things about Tiffany, but nothing about Payless. I would feel better about my decision if I knew someone used them and all went well!

Bump...

Still looking for someone that has used Payless...

Bump.
I read another post about someone wanting the info. I don't think it was responded to either :(
I am also interested in this. Wonder how long they have been is buiness? Could be a new co and we just haven't found any DIS members that has used them yet.

When I called and booked, the person I spoke with (Sam) said that they have been in business for 8 years. I'd feel better if I could hear from someone who has used them - oh, well - I'm going with them anyway!

Hey Duet, when are you going? Would you kindley post and let us know how things went, who was your driver and so on. Thanks
Gerri

Fostrmom2mny,

My husband and I will be at the Beach Club, celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary, October 3rd thru the 7th. He will be so surprised to see a limo picking us up!! I'll let you know how it goes!

I used Payless for my 1st trip to Disney World (Aug. 2001), $70 roundtrip from MCO to ASMU (Internet special) , The driver (can't remember his name) met us at baggage claim, helped with luggage. Very nice towncar, the driver and I got to talking about how I heard about them, how most of their business comes from the internet... etc. Anyway, we became so absorbed in conversation that he forgot our grocery stop! I didn't know where we were but when I saw the AllStars sign, I figured that we had passed the grocery store. Anyway, the driver apologized and turned back around and drove to the grocery store. it was already midnight so I wasn't in a huge hurry and we did get a nice driving tour of the area....At the end of our trip he picked us up in a limo! Not the nicest on the inside - but the nicest limo I've ever been in! I thought that this was a very nice gesture on the drivers part - making up for the grocery store mishap, and it was just cool to be picked up in a limo! As I stated earlier - the towncar was very nice - obviously well maintained. If I had paid for the limo, I would have been disappointed. If you plan to use the limo - I'm sure they have more than one - call to be sure though! I figured that since I hadn't booked a limo for the return trip maybe the one he picked me up in was the only one available at the time? Either way, I was satisfied enough that I plan to use this service on our next trip.
By the way, the driver mentioned that Happy Limo has a bad reputation at the airport for leaving passengers stranded...Hope this helps someone!

Carrieann,

Thank you sooo much for the reply. I knew someone out there had to have used their service! I'm glad to hear the driver was there when he was supposed to be and that he was pleasant. Hopefully our limo will be nicer inside than yours was. I'll let you all know when we return.
