Hi All!
I need some lightning fast feedback as I'm already late to the party. Here's the deal:

*We go to WDW every 3rd wk of Oct
*Last year we rented 2bd VGF
*We are at Poly studio now and though the storage is non existent & the walls are thin, the kids love it!!! The location beats even VGF for trans.
*We are just waiting for sellers docs to close on Aulani but don't think I'll have a member # by 7 mo window. So we are going to rent again
*We are going to Aulani in April and maybe Xmas which is Hawaiian themed also, obs. : )
*kids are totally into the pool age at 5 & 7 yrs.
*my husband and the young adults love for world showcase.
*there is no guarantee I can rent poly before 7 mos because not enough owners so if I bet on that I'd be stuck going through Disney at a huge loss
*Rentals are non refundable.
*We stay for 9 nights (it's a long trip from Seattle)

SO! Do I go for a 2 bedroom at BCV or take my chances on 2 studios at poly?

Also, I can still get a 2 bed at VGF which we love - I hesitate because 1) we're hoping to buy there in the next year and 2) it's 2k more and 3) the kids love the pool scene so much.

Help experts who I know also agonize over the choices ; )

I think BCV would be my choice. The pools there have lots of different experiences for children, there's sand bottom, whirlpool area and a large area to play in sand. Plus, it is so convenient to Epcot for F&W activities. Plus, apparently you can book it now.

I think renovations will still be going on, so that may deter you. It is not deterring me, I have 2 BCV stays coming up this year.

Bobbi:)

We just returned last night from our first DVC trip. We made Poly our home resort and stayed in a studio. We really liked the room and really only had one item on the list we think they could improve. There are no dresser drawers per say. the bed has two large drawers and the bathrooms have smallish drawers under the sink. Our opinion was that an actual dresser would have been a better option. Given the fact that the bathrooms are so large (like to meet ADA standards) and that the cabinet under the tv is a twin murphy bed, there really isn't ample room to add a dresser. it's not a deal breaker for us but more of an observation. I can't speak to BCV and whether or not they have dressers.

What I will say is that Poly is super convenient for travel to and from MK & Epcot. we stayed in the Pago Pago building and the walk to the ticket and transportation center was relatively short in order to take the express monorail to epcot.

We are very glad to have made Poly our home resort.

YOu have good choices, I would pick the 2BR GF if money wasn't a issue. Otherwise I would go with the 2 BR BC.

You're right. We are here now and there are clothes piles on the table and you know where I put the suitcases so o can access them? That huge useless bathroom space! ; ) I would seriously consider buying poly if that weren't an issue or if there were regular bedroom units.

I think for 9 nights the a storage issue would become a small nightmare.
But I do love the place!!! And the location is better than GF I think.

I'm leaning thins way! Epcot on tap!?! I mean what could be better!? It's now a roshambo between VGF and BCV.

I agree with booking BCV or VGF now-we went the third week of Oct last year and the Poly literally booked up within a minute or two after 8 am every day leading up to and including our checkin day-I was anxiously watching as we had bought a BWV contract but when we closed at 8 months out there was no availability there for our week. Luckily we were able to snag a Poly studio right at 8 am on the dot 7 months out but had we needed 2 as you appear to require we would not have been successful. If you do not have a Poly owner to rent from it would most likely be difficult to secure 2 studios during the extremely popular fall months like October since you have to book one then book the other.

Yes to all of this which makes it so hard!!! I'm thinking we are going to go with GF. We eat at all the restaurants there and the clincher is that it's near golf whereas BCV is not. The trans to MK is problematic but on the flip side we take cabs often so it probably is null.

I'm gonna agonize on this one more night and pull the trigger.

Plain!!! Peanut!!! No, plain!!! Wait!!!! : )

Thank you! This was need to know info. We use a really great rental company and I think if anyone could snag it, she could make it happen. But I worry about availability in general once we're members. That's why I think we'll have to buy VGF and maybe direct and beg for a fixed week. We had the chance oct 2015 but we hadn't been to wdw in years and had no idea about dvc. We decided early this year to do it but of course it was gone!

Why must poly have only studios!!! : ((. Does anyone like bungalows? They looked pretty dark this week. It would take us two years worth to stay there. ?? Is it just for VIP Disney use? I mean why??
