rt2dz said:I hate common names. No Michaels or Christophers for us! It's not that they are bad names, I just don't want my kids to be one of 15 Davids in their graduating class.
I also don't like weird names. DS has had a Jagger, Titan, Baylor in his classes. Names that make everyone go "huh?" just aren't my taste.
Then there is the trendy which I also try to avoid. No Taylor/Tyler, Aiden's or Jackson's for us. Again, not bad names, I just don't want one in every class while growing up.
Good Luck!!
Just lol, because I'm trying to figure out what is left. No common, no weird and no trendy?? Hmmm... I thought long and hard about naming my youngest Michael because it has been in the top 20 baby names for like the last 50 yrs or so and so far, he hasn't had another Michael in his class. Actually, there isn't another Michael in the 4th grade at his school. There are several Michaela's, Micayla - however it's spelled. Around here the girls names are duplicated much more frequently than the boys. There must be at least 4 Caitlyns and Taylors and Madisons in each grade.
