Need Mickey Character meal but hear Chef Mickey's is awful!

Just got back from an 8 day stay and had breakfast at CM. I found the fruit bar to be excellent, it was very fresh. The eggs were very buttery, like full stick of butter in one portion. But the worst part was the bacon. We started joking about it calling it "fakeon", plus the sausage was undercooked. Pancakes were decent and the Mickey waffles were good. Get prepared for bird's, at least there were none over the food area. The characters do come by at a VERY fast pace, like 30 seconds each. Overall i'd rate it a 6 out of 10. Nice if you dont want to stand in line at the park's to see characters.

I don't expect gourmet. I've tried almost all of the buffets and disliked this one. I don't understand why people (not just you, others as well) can't just accept that some people may have valid reasons for saying it wasn't good enough for them to go back to or that they just didn't like it.

I agree. CM's is one of few places that people seem to take offense to others saying it was bad. And more times than not, those people totally dismiss the report claiming the person had overly inflated expectations or just went on a bad/off day. I might have thought that if it was just a random bad meal report here or there but CM's gets consistent poor reviews for the same stuff so that leads me to think that CM's is the problem.

Chef Mickey's breakfast is pretty good. I've also heard Ohana's is good, too.

Chef Mickey is terrible, I agree. I would go for Garden Grill.

Our favorite Character Meal by far has been 'Ohana the food we thought was excellent and we are not big breakfast eaters. Every one in our family enjoyed and that is rare for us to have all 5 people happy with food. The characters were great as well.

Can't wait to go back in april

We liked the breakfast at chef mickey's. Crystal palace was much better though.
