You can get good info on
www.allearsnet.com about the annual pass.
If you are planning 3 trips within a year totalling over 10 days, the annual pass is worth it. You also get some discounts, check allearsnet for them.
I know what you were trying to say but, there are plenty of folks who don't make "3 trips" within one year that have AP's.
The 10 or 11-days in the parks IS about the break-even point if you ONLY consider the "park admission" part of AP benefits.
The other BIG benny is the ROOM discount.
IF YOU CAN BOOK THEM (when they are available)... you can save $$$$$ on WDW resort rooms.
We are heading down this week (2 adults) and staying on-property for $49 per night (+ tax) at All Star.
11 days, 10 nights for a grand total of about $550 including tax.
We will NEVER get an opportunity to stay on-property for less... its amazing!
Being from the midwest and not near WDW, we may be a bit unusual, but
we will have used our AP's for 31 days (3 trips, oddly enough) at WDW thoughout 2005 and early 2006.
We have saved hundreds on our rooms and gotten basically "FREE" trips to the parks for at least 20 days on these same 2 AP's.
But there are other years when we only go once (for 9-11 day stay) and still buy the AP's (Room discount, lunch discounts, etc.)
