I'm hoping to add a couple of nights at Disney's Vero Beach resort at the end of our WDW trip in late January. I've read great things about the resort itself, but comments about how isolated it is in terms of restaurants, shopping, etc. We certainly aren't looking for anything built-up, like Myrtle Beach, but would like the option of shopping or a variety of restuarants (doesn't have to be "on-site", but within a 20 minute drive?!?!)
Can anyone give me information about this kind of thing? Also, when they say the restuarant on-site is "expensive"--relative to what? WOuld I expect park prices or higher?
Thanks very much!
