Claudia, yes it does seem to heat pretty well. It does take a little longer to heat up compared to other methods, but it can be a real worry saver when you are out!

I also remember seeing a thing like a small refrigerator that you could plug into the car's outlet and it would either chill or warm food, depending on how you set it. I want to say it was at Brookstone, but I could be wrong.
