Need ideas on how to reveal surprise trip

I'm going to tell my Fiance about his surprise birthday trip to Vegas and Disneyland this weekend. This is the first time I've ever planned a surprise birthday trip for anyone and he has no clue what I have planned for him. I'm trying to think of a cute fun way to reveal the surprise. Should I get him a card and print out our plane tickets? Or pictures of Vegas and Disneyland land marks so he'd have to figure out from clues where we are going?

I'm also considering not telling about the Disneyland part yet. We are going to Vegas first and was thinking when we get to the airport he'd think we are flying home, but we are really flying to California and I could surprise him with the Disneyland tickets then.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Yay! So fun! I think for my surprise reveal in a couple of weeks, I'm doing the giant box with disney balloons because my hubs loves big gestures. But given that you're revealing the Vegas part first, Disney balloons are probably not the way to go, haha. One thing you could do is a series of small gifts that point to the nature of the trip, and ending with the tickets? For example, a pair of sunglasses, a shooter of his favorite alcohol, a pack of playing cards, and then a card with the tickets inside? (or something like that) Sort of builds the moment up!

Thanks :) This is a great idea!

I would totally wait to reveal the Disneyland part-I’d probably pretend to be all sad that our wonderful vacation was over when we are at the airport in vegas, then “find” the tickets or something. What fun!
