On the night we are going to MVMCP, I had made PS for my family of 4. Now my mother-in-law is joinging us and I don't know what to do about dinner that night since the restaurant said there is nothing available for 5.
call the place where you made the PS for. Perhaps they can tell you if it'd be okay to show up earlier with 5 or if they can accomodate you.
If one of the members of your party is a child that takes up less space you might be able to squish into something like a booth or just get a high chair added.
Otherwise. I hear Crystal Palace is reopening 12/15 so their reservations might be open.
Another idea:
PS at a monorail resort / a resort close to the MK (like contemporary).
They might not be as full as the ones in the MK and since you have MVMCP tickets, you are guaranteed admission back into the park!
(versus people who visit during holiday season when MK closes the gate because it is full ... sometimes even to re-admittance)
We're trying O'Hana's for the first time before MVMCP! At last year's MVMCP, there weren't too many fast food places open around 9:00 PM when we got hungry - we had a late lunch that day. So this year, we'll try having a big dinner before the party and hop on the monorail.
We will be eating at the Poly (at 'Ohana) before MVMCP. It's our favorite WDW restaurant, and I don't mind not being the very first person in the park for MVMCP, LOL!
5 pm ressies at Chef Mickeys before our MVMCP night.
THis is working well for me, because we're hopefully going to do a water park that day. Dinner at the CR and hard tickets for MVMCP mean we can save a day on our hoppers!
