Need hotel tips for Valdosta, Ga area.

Can anyone tell me anything good or bad about any hotels in Valdosta or that area. Trying to find a decent one to stop at halfway home... anyone stayed at the Quality Inn there? Any others I should check out? Thanks so much for any info.

Sleep Inn is excellent and for a good price. We stayed there about a month ago and it was immaculate, microwaves & fridges in the rooms, interior corridors, and just generally nice and modern.

Beyond that, I'd probably look at the Country Inn & Suites or the (farily new) Hampton Inn, but I haven't personally stayed at either.
