Need help!!!

As I recently posted we are going to UO 9/26-10/4 and staying at PBH so I was reading the PBH sticky when I found out that the hotel does not have a laundry. We usually do laundry halfway through our trips and then the day before we leave. I don't want the hotels laundry service or any laundry service to do it. As luck would have it on the day of the halfway point of the trip we have tickets for Disney's Halloween Party. I thought we'd rent a car from Hertz and take it to WDW for the party so that morning I could go to an off property laundromat.

My questions are:

Is the rental car idea my best option to get to a nearby laundromat and to the party at WDW?

If we did rent a car and arrived back at UO late that night do we have to pay one night of parking fees or since it's a Hertz rental from the resort the parking fee is waived?

Would we be allowed to do laundry at HRH laundry room?

I would just uber to WDW and back. Yes, you can do laundry at HRH. No idea where a offsite place to do laundry is.

pcstang, you don't need a HRH room key to get into the laundry? If not that would be a great option.

Do you know about what it would cost a family of 4 round trip from UO to WDW?

I have never done laundry at USO but I know people that have. It's never been an issue though I'm not 100% on how it works, but you can definitely use HRH laundry. I also have never used uber there as we are close enough to drive. I've seen tons of threads asking about it though. Seems like I've read about $20 or so each way. I'll try to find some of the threads.

There is a self service laundry and Cabana Bay. You must be able to jump over with your laundry and do it there?

Sorry I couldn't give more details from experience. We arrive on oct 3rd, maybe we will see you there at PBR.
