Need help with transportation to DD.

We are flying in a day early for our cruise in Sept. and will be staying at an Orlando airport hotel. Thought we would go to Downtown Disney for dinner and shopping and need to know what would be the best way to get there and back without paying too much. There is only two of us. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A cab is going to run about $70ish, r/t. I'm just not sure about the Lynx bus system and where it goes. I think there is a route from the airport to TTC, but not 100% sure on that one. You would then have to take a resort bus to DTD from a nearby resort..Polynesian, GF, or CR. And then reverse it going back to your hotel.
I would think a cab would be your best bet.

In fact, that bus does exist, and it also stops at DTD. It's route 111, and only about an hour trip. http://www.golynx.com/assets/userfiles/routemaps/111.pdf

You might have to get back to the airport to catch the bus. You can call Lynx (http://www.golynx.com/?id=1156115) to ask if there is a stop anywhere near your hotel, but it looks like it gets right on the Beach Line Expressway at the airport, so it probably doesn't stop again until around Florida Mall.

Last bus back leaves DTD at 5 minutes to 11.
