Sorry for all the posts. And thank you in advance for help! We are doing a quick 3 day trip to go see all the holiday decorations and no parks with our one year old. I’d love some helping with planning.

This is our longest trip so far with our baby so far and her sleep schedule isn’t really consistent. Would love to hear from others who have gone with a one year old and how that went.

We are going next week so I know it’ll be busy leading into Christmas week. I’m on the fence about booking dining though. She’s always up by 8am so a breakfast would be a safe bet and an early lunch. But she naps anywhere from 12-3 and then for 3 hours. But we’ve had some days where she falls asleep while on the go in her stroller for only an hour and then she will want to go to sleep around 7 which would eliminate a dinner, but if she gets her full nap she won’t go to sleep until 10 and then a dinner would be easy to do. Problem is I won’t know until day of.

Would a last minute dinner reservation be possible? Or should we just do a quick service for dinner? Are quick services at the hotels crazy busy? Also do they have high chairs at quick service locations? The only time we’ve taken her were to sit down places that provided it.

I also just bought an umbrella stroller that folds up really small. Can we bring that to our table at restaurants or do we need to leave that outside with other strollers?

be prepared to leave stroller outside even if folds small where are you going to place it that it is not in way of neighboring tables or yours. short of placing under table in place of a chair so it is out of the servers way or people passing by your table

I think your safest bet is to try to do breakfast or early lunch TS reservations. I would play dinner by ear. When my DS was that young at WDW, his nap schedule got completely thrown off. Once you know how your day is going to play out, you can check the MDE app for dinner reservations or click the "now" button in the reservation section to see which restaurants are accepting walk-ups. I just stayed at CSR and CR last week and had zero issues ordering at various resort QS.

I'd do breakfast and lunch and play it by ear for dinner. Counter service tables will have high chairs, based on the couple we ate at in 2018.

For table service I'd prepare to leave the stroller outside, I think when we did CS at French Quarter we could bring the stroller inside?
