My wife and I have been to WDW 3 out of the last 4 years and we've seen and done most of the "major" things. This trip we would like to see and do some new things. What are some of the things you do that aren't as popular or well known? We thought about doing some resort hopping or maybe a spa treatment. But what are some "other" things to do in and out of the parks?

FYI, we are in our late 20's and will be there May 22-29. Thanks!

Have you played mini-golf? Have you gone to the water parks? Have you seen La Nouba? Have you been to Disney Quest? Have you done Hopp Dee Doo? Have you done any of the behind the scenes tours? We loved the Keys to the Kingdom tour! Often times we skip the movies in the countrys at Epcot. Next time we will make sure to watch them.
Definitely tour the resorts. Have a great trip. Dawn

Hey Beast2Prince,
My bf and I are also in our late 20s, and here are some things we like to do:
::MickeyMo Take a night and go to the Boardwalk to play the games, rent bikes, and shop, then go to Atlantic Dance Hall. There is no cover charge and its a nice bar/dance club.
::MinnieMo (This is more of a favorite of mine than his), Beaches and Cream for a bite to eat at the Beach Club. There are fantastic ice cream desserts to split.
::MickeyMo Dinner at California Grill, overlooking MK during the fireworks. Wonderfully romantic. If you do this, call and get a PS for at least an hour and a half beforehand so that you have a better shot at getting a window seat.
::MinnieMo We're going to try this eventually - rent some watermice and take them out on the lagoon.
::MickeyMo Ride the front of the monorail, especially into EPCOT.

We like to hop around and explore the resorts. Also, someone mentioned renting watermice, that's a lot of fun. Mini golf, the water parks, strolling on the BW, those are all fun too.

Thanks everyone!

Some of those suggestions we have done already, but the others we might try. We have definetely thought about spending an evening on the boardwalk. We've been there during the day, but we've never seen it at night.

Thanks again!

Try and see if you can get in on a Illuminations Cruise, it is an awesome way to see what for us had become a "routine" show. If you can not reserve a boat for yourself, check this site for the possibilty of sharingone, or if you get one share it with others. We were able to meet two great families on our cruise.

Also have just recently heard about the "rehitching" ceremony at The Garden Grill, think I'll try this onour trip in March.

If money is no issue, try Victoria's and Alberts at the Grand Floridian.

So many things to do, so little time!

Good Luck

Hi,

Why don't you try the Key to the Kingdom tour at MK. It is a 5 and 1/2 hour walking tour that takes you backstage. It is wonderful.

Take in La Nouba. You will not be dissapointed!!

I like the idea of resort hopping as well. This is something that I really wanted to do on our last trip but DH was not feelin' it!!

Have fun,
Terri

Our last trip was my 22nd, my wife's 15th and my daughter's 11th, and yet we still found new things to do. Most have already been mentioned but here are some ideas.

DD and I rented a water mouse (I've done it in the past, but not for a long time and it was new to her).

Illuminations Cruise - That was a lot of fun and we shared the boat with several fellow DIS folks.

Had a wonderful lunch at Kona Cafe at the Poly while resort hopping to the 3 monorail hotels.

Visit AKL to see the animals. Have dinner at Boma while there.

Watch MK fireworks from the observation deck at the Contemp.

Take the behind the scenes tour at The Land in Epcot.

Get drinks and relax at the bar in AK in Africa.

Don't miss Mission:Space and Mickey's PhilHarmagic if you haven't done them yet.

Walk around at Pop Century and All Star resorts if you've never seen them. Its fun to see all the super-sized stuff. Bring your camera.

Have a great trip. Always something new to see and do at Disney.

Steve
