Can I please, please, please get some suggestions on how to plan my itinerary? I know I shouldn't try to "do it all" but I only have 3 days to try and get a sample of each of the 4 parks. I have a 5 day park hopper but it was all I could do to talk my DH into doing 3 this time. We are bringing our DD 12 and our DS 5 who will be experiencing all but MK for the first time. As I said I really need some help here - please! Thanks

First you need to decide what are the "must-do's". Each of you pick 1 per park-- be sure to work those in. Also, what about character meals? If you want to do them, decide which characters you'd like to see the most and see which places offer them. Also, is your family more into thrill rides or tame rides? This will help in planning. As well as when are you going? Staying on or off site?

We were also only there for 3 days of touring on our last trip. It became very apparent around 11:00 on our first day that we would never be able to see everything due to the shorter park hours and more crowds than we expected. So when planning our second two days, we made a list of the attractions we definitely wanted to see in each park and then set a time allotment for each park. If we had done all our must do's and still had time left over, we did the attractions we had marked as secondary. This worked well and our second two days were much less stressful since we felt like we had more of a plan. Also, don't forget you can always visit again!;)

It's a tall order Piscesangel. With kids that age, you could probably narrow Epcot down to FW only and that might take less than a full day. You'll certainly want to spend one whole day at MK. That gives you about 1.5 days to work out AK and MGM. When are you going? With the heat and crowds summer is especially brutal when you're trying to do long Disney days.

Thank you all for your suggestions! Now to answer your questions, we will be going May 9-11. I think we are all more into the tame rides but are definitely interested in trying Space Mountain and Mission Space (maybe not my DS though). Is there anything in Epcot WS I would be missing out on if I chose not to see that at this time? Oh yeah, we are staying at the Pop Century. Thanks again everyone!!

Here's what I would do:
One full day for MK
Morning in FW, late lunch at a WS restaurant, the take the water shuttle from FW to MGM.
Last day AK then eat at AKL, then take bus from there to finish MGM or spend a bit more time in MK.
If you have a meal in the WS you won't miss it completely but you wouldn't spend too much time there. It is more appealing to adults I think.
Definately make a list of all the rides you want to do at each park.
It is alot to do in 3 days but it is up to you how much you want to see. You could do the highlights and at least get to experience each of the 4 parks.
Or you could do what I do. Charm DH into "Just one more day, PLEEEEASE". Why go all that way and spend the money to rush through it right?:smooth:

Ok, don't panic. Your in good hands. First do some reseach. Find out which attractions you'd like to see in all four theme parks. The 1st day, I'd try MK. Get that done so the magic really sinks in. The 2nd day start off with AK, and then go to Epcot in the afternoon. Stay there until the park closes and eat dinner at Teppayaki in Japan. Then the final day, go to MGM in the morning. You will probably get everything done at MGM by 2 or 3 oclock. Then you can go back to MK, AK, or Epcot and ride some more rides. I would go to MK last. Its a great place to start and end the trip. Hope this helped. Have a GREAT time. Post your reviews when you get back!

HAVE FUN!::MickeyMo

Here are just a few things I'd consider when planning---

I counted the days from your counter and it looks like maybe you'll be there on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday????

Keep in mind---
Thursday--Magic Kingdom EMH
Friday-Animal Kingdom EMH
Saturday---MGM EMH
Sunday--is the first day of the "new EMH plan" and EPCOT will be open late, although, that might be a little late for the 5 year old.
Monday is also Animal Kingdom EMH

You can really get allot done and get ahead of the crowds by taking advantage of those extra hours.

And just like everyone else said, get your list of "must do's", plan a couple really nice fun meals, they are a big part of the experience and provide nice breaks.

If you just take it easy and have fun you won't have to get it all done this time because everyone will want to come back again and again and again!!!!!!!!!!!! :teeth:

Don't forget that you can always take a "pool" break, just to get everyone back in good spirits and get you organized again if you need to. Just relax and have a good time!!! Planning a little will help accomplish that and you're already doing that!!!!!!!;)

We are arriving Saturday, but not enough time to use a day of our PH so we're going to DD. This is what I have come up with based on all of your FABULOUS suggestions:

Sunday -MK -as that is an EE day
go to MGM later for dinner/Fantasmic!

Monday -AK -also EE day
break
Epcot for dinner/Illuminations

Tuesday -MGM (do must-see rides)
MK fireworks/parade

What do y'all think?

Thanks again for all of your help!
