need help with December dates

Sooo... I'm very tempted with the DLR lodging sale, and am looking at December.

I had been thinking about the week after Thanksgiving, but the timing doesn't work very well for us. Too bad as I understand this is a good time for low crowds.

So, I'm considering Wed December 7th through 10th (leaving Sun the 11th) or the following week Wed December 14th through the 17th (leaving Sun the 18th).

Is either one of these likely to be significantly more or less crowded than the other? What about ride refurbishments or similar issues?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts you might share.

(I'm well aware that Monday and Tuesday might give us lower crowds, but because they are pretty heavy work days for me, it's much easier for me to take off Wed, Thu, Fri and get five days that way.)

One thing that is still unknown is when the CM parties may take place. It could call during your visit. Otherwise the later in December the busier it will be.

We always go between the week after TG and the second week of December.
We will be there this year the first set of dates you stated. We have been there several times during CM parties and even though DLR closes earlier CAP usually stays open later. The parks are not nearly as crowded on these days. The closer you get to the break the more crowded it does get. I would highly reccomend the 7-11. If I had to bet, I would say the CM parties will be at least one week later than the 7-11 dates. They seem to have gotten a little later in the month over the years.
