My daughter is having her 2nd grade "Fairytale Ball" on Monday. I have to come up with a couple cute treats. What better place to ask fairytale ideas?

Generally food has to be storebought, but I know a couple parents are making castle cakes so I should be ok to make something. Any cute ideas? Please?

Here's a really cute recipe for "magic wands." Basically pretzel rods dipped in white chocolate and then sprinkled with colored sugar. (I would use white chocolate for this recipe, BTW -- the recipe calls for white frosting which seems like it would be too gooey.)

You could take confetti ice cream to go with the castle cake.

Or do a green punch for a "witch's brew."

(Leave out the vodka, natch!) ;)

So I'm dumb and asked for help and then forgot that I posted this to check it....LOL It's been a long weekend already!!! Ended up getting a couple angel food cakes that I'm going to cut into cubes for Hansel and Gretel's bread crumbs and some Shrek fruit roll ups. May try one or two of these also if I get time....Thanks for your help though. Too bad I'm a dork!
