Need help, if we plan and cancel for Aug 2012, can balance be applied to another date

First sorry, IDK where to really post this.

We are planning Aug 2012 vacation with the free dining offer, however we are also looking for a house. With just being in the beginning stages of house hunting, I really don't know what's going to happen and when/if we will be moving anytime soon. If we do find a house in July/August I am sure we won't want to take that vacation b/c we'll want to work on our house.

So, if this was to happen would we be able to apply our deposit/balance to a Oct 2012 or May 2013 vacation? This way we wouldn't be losing out on the balance? Obviously we won't be guaranteed free dining (Oct it could roll into right? and May is usually a deal-less month lol). Anyone ever have to do this?

As long as you cancel before the minimum time you can get all your money back

You can change your dates and keep the same reservation # and deposit or like the pp said, you can cancel and get your deposit back in full as long as you are more than 45 days out.
