Need Help From The CVSers!

Go back to your CVS and get rain checks!
I am the biggest CVSer I know (not including DISers, of course) and I didn't know about rain checks until this week. I went to the store to buy about 8 different things, and all but 3 were out of stock. I went to the register and the cashier gave me rainchecks for all of the items. The rainchecks have no expiration date. Next time I go to CVS, I will get all my stuff. I will try to plan it when the stuff isn't on sale so there is a good selection.

You may run into trouble if you're supposed to be getting ECBs on any of those... they can change the price at the register to reflect the raincheck, but I don't know if they can make it spit out the ECBs...

Yes, they can make it spit out ECBs. I get them to do it all of the time. The raincheck has the code written in at the bottom.

Thank you! I was going to do this (went in Monday and everything was already gone!) but I wasn't sure how the ECB's would work once the items did come in! Thanks! I think I'll go back tonight and get my rainchecks!

wow, thank you! i didn't know you could get rain checks on items with ECBs! i don't think i'm going to make a trip back to CVS just for them, but i'll remember that for next time! i did mention to the cashier that almost everything i wanted was gone, and she didn't offer rain checks.
