Need help finding thin winter jacket

DD11 has a North Face Apex Bionic, got a womens x-small (she's 53.5 inches and 75lbs) it's a little big but it was the one she liked best. She hates hoods on jackets and this one has no hood. It's warm enough for in the mid 20s. Nice and thin. They also have a mens and childrens version.

That actually looks like something she might go for...It looks like it's kind of thin for winter? How do the sizes run compared to other jackets?

I was the same way- I didn't want to wear a coat at that age either because it wasn't 'cool'. If I had gotten a 'cool' coat, that would have been one thing...

Aeropostle is a good bet!!

It is kinda thin but warm, it must be the material it is made out of and its better than her not wearing a coat cause it's big and bulky. Hers is an womens xsmall and big on her, I tried it on and while it fits me perfect with a tshirt (I'm 5ft5 130) I would get a small so I could wear a thicker shirt under. the sleeves are about 2 inches too long on DD but she says they do not get in her way, it comes half way down her butt but she's short, hits me right on hip.

Sizing seems to run similar to Columbia jackets I have and Solomon.

Did that help?

Keep in mind that the Northface kids sizes are much cheaper than adult sizes:thumbsup2 The Nupste is also very thin for being down. Good luck!
