On one of my threads, I asked some questions about transportation to the Dolphin if staying off-site. Someone mentioned something that now makes me think my plan for Valentine's Day will not work. Can someone please help?

I am meeting my DH at Shula's Steakhouse at the Dolphin for a 7:00 reservation. After eating, my plan was to walk (or boat) to DHS to catch the shuttle for the Hilton Bonnet Creek, but DHS closes at 8:00. So there won't be any buses at that time. So, then I figured I could just catch a bus to Epcot (which closes at 9:00) and then get on the Hilton shuttle. But in my other thread, someone indirectly stated that there are no buses from the Dolphin to Epcot. I guess we could walk to the Yacht/Beach Club, then catch a bus to Epcot? (My DH will not have a park ticket, so we can't go through the International Gateway to get to the Epcot buses.)

I'm starting to panic here. :scared1: Please help!

I second the suggestion to just take a cab back.

You're thought about going over to YC/BC and catching a bus to Epcot won't work either - there's no bus from there to Epcot either. If time wasn't an issue, and the MK was open late that night, you could take a bus from the Dolphin to the MK and then the monorail over to the TTC to catch your hotel's shuttle. But you will wind up spending probably an hour doing all of that. A cab will have you back at your hotel in about 5 minutes.

Taxi should be about $10-$12 plus tip, and take between 5 and 10 minutes.
Just ask any of the valet guys there and they will get you a cab in minutes.
If you haven't eaten there yet you're going to love Shulas, great steakhouse

Just a caution about getting a cab at the Dolphin. Be sure you stress to the valet that you want a cab, not a town-car. For some reason they insist on trying to put you in town cars, which will cost more. Perhaps they have an arrangement with the town car company that gets them a kick-back.

When we got back from PCC 2.0 in December, I specifically asked them to call a cab, not a town-car and they still tried to put me in one. You have to be specific.
