Why pay $200.00 for a 4 or 8 GB Nano when you can get an 80 GB iPod Classic for $40-50 more?
I'm trying to decide too. I have two teens who don't have them and really want them.
The price I saw is more like:
$80 - 1GB
$150 - 4GB
$200 - 8GB
$250 - 80GB
Barbossa, do you know of somewhere with better prices than what I found?
I am thinking the 4GB (nano) should be enough for them (my kids), plus I think this one holds pictures and video too, and the 1GB (shuffle) doesn't (right)?
Check them out online like bestbuy or right on the apple website or wherever. It says the 4GB stores 1,000 songs or 25,000 pictures, which should be plenty for my teens for now. (if they don't lose them in a couple of years, maybe upgrade them, and they can give the "old ones" to mom & dad!).
So really it is $100 between the 4GB and the 80GB and $100 really is a lot of money - especially times two kids, or $200!
OP: Good luck with your choice, don't be embarassed!! I don't know anything more than what I have just started looking at online. Also, there seems to be endless accessories for these things. Should make birthday ideas and future christmas ideas easy!
