What's the difference between MNNSHP and the Happy Haunts Ball? Does one have trick or treating, and which one is more fun for adults only? Does the HHB have a Haunted Mansion Dinner? Sorry to be so confused - thanks for your help.

Also which weekend would be less crowded?

MNSSHP is more kid friendly but I love it as an adult! :)! Several rides are open, trick or treating, fireworks parades. The 999 Haunted Ball seems to be more of a collectors party than an actual Halloween party. It's limited to 999 tickets, and I think there's not any rides, excepting the HM,that are part of the event.

Here'sa link to a thread right here about MNSSHP:

Here's a link to the 999 Haunts Ball unofficial site with tons of info on the event:

and here's a link to the WDW site official 2003 pin events scheduled:

MSSHP is a party for both kids and adults. There is trick or treating and you have the whole park to run around in. HHB is a merchandise event. There was a buffet dinner (not in the HM) and only Splash Mountain, the roller coaster and HM were open. There is a big difference in price. MNSSHP runs around $31 whereas the HBB was about $100.
