My family is going to MK july 29 and 30. It will be me, my husband, 2 yo son and my parents. We are staying offsite st Staybridge suites LBV. We plan to do RD and then head back to room for after lunch for naps and swimming on both days.

On the 29 me and the hubby are planning to head back to park after dinner to ride more adult rides and see the nighttime shows.

Please help me decide on what rides to do fast pass and what times. Should we use our 3 fast passes in the morning when our son is with us and then once me and the hubby go back get our other fast passes or ride standby? Once crowds die down at night??

on the 30th we will do all our fast passes in the morning since we PROB want go back that evening.

The plan is do adventure, frontier, and liberty square on day one. Then do fantasy and tomorrow lands on day 2. We will also try and fit in some character meets if the timing is right but that is not a priority except for Mickey Mouse which def want to see. .

Hi, there. We just returned from a 4-day trip to Disney World.

For your first MK day, if you want to do Mine Train in the evening, you should probably make that your 3rd FP+ for the day. Since it is a new ride, it will have long waits no matter what time of day. So, use 2 FP+ in the AM and then make your 3rd for the evening. If your parents will be with you in the AM only, have them make their 3rd FP+ for the AM and then any two of you can ride that 3rd ride. If you make your Mine Train FP for early evening, you'll still have a good chance to put a 4th FP after that for HM or something similar.

Hope this helps! Good luck.

Thanks for info. Just to be clear. Are you saying if my parents don't use all their fast passes that we could we use them instead? If so that will help me plan even better for the night we go back. :-)

I am not sure how this works, if you once go in the park on a certain day and leave, I assume your fast pass still works, if this is the case, you can take their bands with you, but you will have to have their bands because their fast passes are linked to them. Which leaves them without one for getting back in their room, etc.

Maybe someone on here could add to this because this will be our first time with the magic bands

We area staying offsite so want be any problem if we take their tickets with us.

Last month I went with my daughter and her 2 kids. On last day heat did me in so I decided I was going home (I only live 60 miles south of Disney, we still stay onsite. Daughter decided she was going to come back to my house and stay the night. My granddaughter wanted to go with me and not stay at the park. She always wants to be with grandma (everyone says she's my favorite, I say no I'm her favorite...she got her 5 yr shots and blood drawn and she kept saying "I want my grandma"...melt my heart) so we left our MB with my daughter for her and my grandson to use our FPs. She changed the last FP to RnR and they went on twice. She tried getting FPs for Toy Story but they were out. We had arrived at the park and at 9:15 all Toy Story FPs were gone. Once your first 3 FPs have been used you can book additional FP through the kiosks. I'd book all 3 for the morning. For the 4th one I'd either try for the parade or Wishes (my favorite FP, you sit in a grassy area to the right of the castle, you won't see the fireworks behind castle like if you were in front of the castle but it's still a great spot) my profile pic is grandson in the Wishes FP area. When you enter go to left for best castle view for celebrate the magic. I'd skip Small World until your Fantasyland day. Have fun!
