Need Disney Girl Name

Jasmine is very popular if not too popular.
Ariel is growing in popularity around here.

Some others.
Nicole - From the Herbie movies.
Bianca - White mouse from The Rescuers.
Penny - Little girl in The Rescuers (Grew up with a Penny from
high school).

Nani - Lilo and Stitch.
Annabel - Freaky Friday.
Nora - Lived with Elliot in Pete's Dragon.

Like some others have said, Wendy sounds great. And Nicole was on our list 3 years ago, when our daughter was born. We ended up using Nicole as her middle name.

Elionwy (pronounced Ellen-wee) from The Black Cauldron.

Kiara from the Lion King 2

Daisy

Megara

Esmeralda

Jane

Cindy or Ella

Wendy

Penny

Bianca

Jasmine

Olivia (from the Great Mouse Detective)

Or you could just go crazy with it and name her Tinkerbell! ;)

I really like Jasmine, nickname Jas (pronounced "Jazz"). I knew a girl in high school who had that name!

Belle is always nice too.

So is Minnie.

I'd stay away from Ariel and Jasmine. They are very , very trendy names and she may not even be the only Ariel or Jasmine in her class!

:)

Congrats by the way!!

What about Maid "Marion" from Robin Hood!!! She was so sophisticated.princess:

My sisters name is Wendi and she loves it !!!

Ariel in Spanish means laundy soap. Our spanish exchange student was here in the states when the 1st one came out on Video and she would laugh so hard everytime my kids talked about Ariel LOL

OMG LOL!!! Who knew? (Besides everyone who speaks Spanish that is!)

How about Anastasia? I believe she was one of Cinderella's step-sisters. (Could call her Anna for short.)

Diznee25

My collie is named Jasmine, so obviously I like that name. Love Bianca and Nala. When I worked on the Ante-partum floor, there was a patient I took care of, who was going into labor. I asked her if she had a name picked out and she said yea, Nala. I said, from the Lion King, and she said yep, it was her favorite movie. Good Luck!

Jessie (Toy Story)

We named our cat Jessie, we have always had Disney names. Our dog is Lilo :)
I'm afraid for our children.

My vote would be for Olivia Jane or Bianca Jane.

Good luck with the pregnancy and your new addition!

Beware, we almost named our DD Olivia, I love that name, but there is a very popular book series...Olivia the pig. (as Our last name already starts with the letters C.o.w. we didn't need an other farm animal associations.)
There is always Susie ( as in Susie mouse in Cinderella)
I also love Lillian (DH didn't)

Good Luck and Please let us know what you decided.

::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

p.s. We once told our first 3 we'd been lying to them, that their real names are Mickey, Donald, and Cinderella. One is actually a Donald. Scary, they all believed us and they were about 9yrs old.LOL

I think Aurora is gorgeous and timeless, and doesnt scream of Disney...

Belle is adorable, esp as a middle name! I, too, love Annabel from Freaky Friday. That adorable young Jodie Foster!

Had either of my Dss been girls, they would have been Kylie Ariel. So, aother vote for Ariel here. ;)

Congratulations! I am so happy for you.

Anastasia was not only an ugly step sister, but she was also the lead in the Disney movie "Anastasia" about the Russian princess.

I always loved the name Cleo (the fish from Pinnochio). It seems so hip and in the baby books it was considered creative and strong. One of the pretty Docs from "ER" was Cleo. I wanted to use it for my daughter, but lost my nerve the second I got pregnant and instead went classic w/ Caroline. I kept thinking of Cleopatra, and thought it to be too exotic.

The other name I always loved was Tess (from Freaky Friday). I first became interested in the name when I saw that commercial w/ the baby who's Mommy called her Tess. I thought it was such a cute name for a baby. Then I read in those silly baby books that Tess gave an image of an old, dowdy woman. It didn't for me. Then Freaky Friday came out and Jamie's name was Tess, not her daughter. Even though Jamie is stunning for her age, I started thinking Tess may be too old a name for a baby.

Jasmine and Ariel are VERY popular right now and be aware if you use them, your daughter will end up being a #1, 2, or 3 in her class.

If I have a third, and it's a boy, I am still going w/ Sebastian (from The Little Mermaid). Haven't changed my mind on that one yet.

Good luck w/ the naming. It's so exciting!

Oooh!

Molly and Hannah were both in Toy Story too. I always liked those names, although Hannah is very popular right now.

And Olivia is a lovely name, but it's like #4 on the list of most popular. Kids do like having similarities w/ other kids (they mostly don't like standing out too much) but having 2 or 3 in a class might be annoying for them. Who knows...... I'm not there yet, just repeating what I read.
