We will be in Orlando May 28-June 2. I had planned on making reservations for Discovery Cove for the 28th (Memorial Day) and going to Busch Gardens later in the week to avoid the Memorial Day crowds. Now it appears that Sheikra, which is a MAJOR reason for visiting Bush Gardens, will go into rehab after Memorial Day. So now I am trying to decide if I want to fight the crowds at Busch Gardens on Memorial Day and go to Discovery Cove later, or go to Discovery Cove on Memorial Day and use my park passes for SeaWorld instead.

Does anyone have any suggestions what I should do???

I'm looking forward to the changing of Sheikra, but I have no idea why they're waiting until the busiest time of year to redo the trains, and taking two weeks to complete the job.

memorial day is busy obviously, but the park handles crowds well. coaster standby times can be 30-60 minutes, water rides 60-90 minutes memorial day weekend. if you could be at the gates at opening, you'd beat the crowds and get the coasters out of the way.
