We'll be going the first week of June and I'm looking for some dinner suggestions for our family of four (Myself, DW,DD(4),DS(18MO) )

I need two for MK, two for Epcot, one for AK (or nearby), one for DHS (or nearby). And to top it off, I'd like to have one breakfast the morning that we leave - if there was only one place you would go, where would it be?

We'll be staying offsite, so if you have any offsite recommendations as well, that would work too!

Thanks in advance for your input! :goodvibes

For breakfast I would recommend a character buffet. Our family's favourites are Tusker House(AK-Mickey etc), Crystal Palace (MK-Pooh and friends), and 1900 Park Fare (Alice etc).
Dinners: Epcot-Coral Reef, Tutto Italia, Teppan Edo or Le Cellier
AK- Yak&Yeti (my personal favourite)
MK- head to the Poly for 'Ohana
HS- head to Beach Club for Cape May cafe
Check our menus and reviews on allears.net.

I enjoyed the Plaza at the MK recently. I agree with the Yak and Yeti suggestion, is was very good. DHS - we enjoyed the short boat ride to the Yacht Club and ate at Captains Grille, we thought it was one of the best meals of our trip. The boat ride was relaxing and might give the kids a little downtime. I know that alot of Diser's don't like Garden Grill at Epcot, but we (3 adults) loved it, the food was good and the 4 characters came around 3-4 times during our meal, the kids that were there seemed to be enjoying that character meal as much as any of the others we went to, and it was much less hectic/noisy there.

I would suggest looking at all the menus on allears.net , that might help make your decision if there are certain types of food you are looking for.

Reviews and suggestions are great, but please don't base your choices strictly on them, I learned that from this past trip.

Staying offsite, I assume you must have a vehicle. With that in mind, I'd recommend Cape May Cafe for your last day breakfast. It'd be a character meal, and it's a good way to say goodbye to The World.

Other ideas:

Epcot - Dine with the princesses at Akershus, maybe? Otherwise, our family really LOVED Biergarten.

Magic Kingdom - I think Crystal Palace is pretty cool, and your kids are the right ages to enjoy Pooh and Friends.

Animal Kingdom (area) - You could do Tusker House, but Boma is really popular and is at Animal Kingdom Lodge, I believe.

I really don't have any recommendations for DHS. We've not found anything that just stands out. Maybe Hollywood and Vine since your kids are the right ages to enjoy the characters?

We are a meat and potato kind of family so our favs are MK Liberty Tree...Epcot Garden Grill...DHS 50's Prime Time Cafe...and in AK we do a lot of snacking but like Flame Tree even though it is a CS. Hope you have a great trip!

MK- Crystal Palace & Ohana (at the Poly which is a monorail ride away from MK)
Epcot- haven't been to much there so I'm not sure
HS- Mama Melrose
AK- Boma (at AKL)

I would definitely do Cape May Cafe(mickey) for your last day character breakfast...or 1900 Park Fare(alice/mary poppins).

MK-Crystal Palace(Pooh) and head over to 1900 Park Fare(Cinderella) if you don't choose it for breakfast. :)

EPCOT-Garden Grill(Chip/Dale/Mickey) and Akershus(princesses)

AK-Tusker House

DHS-over to Cape May Cafe, if you don't choose it for breakfast on your last day. :)

With a four year old daughter and an 18 month old son, I would recommend the following:

Magic Kingdom area: Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary with the characters for dinner or breakfast. Cinderellas Castle with Cinderella and friends for breakfast. Liberty Tavern for lunch or dinner. Not a big fan of Crystal Palace (buffet) but the characters are Pooh and friends which your kids might like.

Epcot: Garden Grille with Chip and Dale. Coral Reef with the aquarium. Le Cellier for the parents (good beef items). Cape May Cafe at Beachclub for breakfast with characters. I believe this is Minnie and friends not Mickey.

Hollywood Studios: Mama Melroses for dinner. Pizza Planet for lunch with the Toy Story theme.

Animal Kingsdom: Rainforest Cafe for lunch or dinner.

Hope this helps. Enjoy. Have fun planning.

MK - The only full service restaurant I will eat at in this park is LT for lunch. Columbia is the best quickservice. Otherwise go eat at one of the nearby resort restaurants. Konas, GF Cafe, Citricos, WC

EC - Recently ate at the new Via Napoli. It is now one our faves! Chefs de France is very good as well. For QS Tangerine Cafe

DHS - Mama Melrose is still pretty good.

DTD - Fultons for lunch, Ranglan Road

Offsite - Celebration Town Tavern, Pei Wei, Jimmy Buffets, PF Changs, Cal Pizza are ones we frequent.

Breakfast - Capts Galley at YC, Everything Pop, WCC

MK - CP and Ohana at the Poly
Epcot - Coral Reef and Chef Mickey at Contemp or 1900 Park Fare at GF to meet Cinderella and the step-sisters.
AK - ? AK closes early usually and you could eat anywhere
HS - 50's PT
Breakfast the day you leave - If you don't go to Boma for dinner, I'd go for breakfast. It is delicious and you can explore the resort before you leave. Otherwise I'd do Chef Mickey's.

MK-Crystal Palace
Epcot-Biergarten or Chefs De France
AK-Tusker House
HS-Mama Melrose

My family also loves Chef Mickey for dinner and Boma for breakfast. Cape May has also been very good for a character breakfast.

Good luck with your decision!
