Ok, I want to "thank" everyone again who helped me with my first cover letter. Now I'm in a different situation and need help once again.
The position I applied for was a temporary position at a college. I knew that sometime next year it would be converting to a permanent position and I'd have to reapply (since I'm considered temporary right now). I was just informed that this will be happening within a few months.
I'll have to submit a cover letter again and obviously I don't want to submit my standard one (because I sent that one the first time). I love working there and definately hoping they will keep me onboard. I want to somehow stress the fact, in a professional matter, that I love working there, enjoy the position and would like the opportunity to continue. If I lost this job, I'd be so heartbroken. I feel at peace when I'm there and look forward to going to work because I love my job.
Can someone help suggest some eye catching terminology for my new cover letter? I'd also need to incorporate something new for a follow-up interview once again as well.
I know I will be twice as nervous for the interview because I"ll be interviewing with the same people I did before & know I"ll be fighting to keep my job, basically...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
